2016 Estate Rose' of Pinot Noir

Also 100% Pommard-clone, this 2015 is currently showing citrus aromas, especially pink grapefruit.The wine opens to rhubarb and Santa Rosa plum on the palate. The fresh, mouth-watering acidity suggests this would be a great partner for smoked salmon or grilled prawns, or to tapas involving Serrano ham. Expect this wine to evolve over time: when the 2014 was first bottled, it exhibited a similar grapefruit flavor profile, but developed aromas of strawberry and raspberry as it matured. We expect similar development over the next few months.

Serve this with a light salad made with freshly picked Oregon berries, or prosciutto wrapped around melon slices.
