Named for Bill and Sheila's adorable longhaired Dachshund puppy Amelia, this wine is a blend of both Chardonnay clones, chosen to create a layered wine with impressive aromas of Bosc Pear, dried apricots, and subtle salinity. On the palate this special wine delights with flavors of hibiscus, candied lemon, kumquat, a delicate mallow dust, finishing with orange blossom, white tea, and wild strawberry. The structured acidity and suggestion of oak makes the 2020 Amelia is a wine to be enjoyed now and for years to come!

A rare treasure in the Blakeslee Lineup!  This unique wine is made much like a chardonnay using 100% red Pinot Noir fruit.  Clusters are pressed directly into neutral oak barrels preventing any and all skin contact with the juice.  This method allows production of a perfectly white to light gold wine.  Liquid gold in a glass.

A delicate medley of aromas including white cherry, peach, and orange blossom accompany a silky palate bursting with tangy and tantalizing flavors of coconut, honeydew, and vanilla bean.  Enjoy this delectable and luscious wine with seared scallops, a bone in pork chop, or country fried chicken with buttermilk mashed potatoes with sausage gravy.  

This wine is enigmatically beautiful, boasting notes of roasted hazelnut and sweet almond that mingle with juicy tangerine, followed by a finely blanched minerality on the finish. Pretty vanilla oak, rich floral honey, nutmeg and cinnamon apple, crème Brule’, and toasty brioche with orange zest and white peach envelop the nose and mouth. Rich creamy round texture with focused acidity builds to a firm full month feel with and lingering finish of honeyed perfumed fruit. This Burgundian-styled wine can be equally enjoyed on its own or with a meal of Ahi Poke with Quinoa and Heirloom Tomatoes.
